Your favourite Red Card moments?
Good nomination in a la Liga game today, a real spur of the moment bit of madness! Think this guy is a Chelsea target as well…………..hahahahha

Always remember one of the worst i saw was the one when Alvin Martin was falling over and put his arm out to break his fall and the ball hit his upper arm from behind but he got a Red! Was later recinded but terrible decision.

Or the Turkish player in the WC when Rivaldo “faked” injury......

I don’t think he was booked but Spencer scored the winner if I recall

It wasn't a red but to be fair it should have been, was when Dicksy jumped over John Spencer (I think) and landed on his head. VAR would have had Julian walking on that one I think! David Mellor was ranting about him being an Animal afterwards. Can't remember if he was ever actually booked for it?

It's not a famous incident, however years ago, a mate of mine was playing and his team mate was sent off after the game had finished.

He had already been booked in the game for a late challenge which was deserved, but all could see how poor the referee was overall, he had no control and most of the time it appeared he didn't know the rules. Some of the decisions were laughable but it was very entertaining for us watching.

The game finished and he approached the ref and put his hand out as if to shake, but pulled away last minute and made a smart arse comment. Second yellow and red. His manager went mad.

Gazza giving a mouthful to a ref when playing against Chelsea then the ref gives him a red card!

Remember that game well.

Rob Harris was surrounded by fans in his car after the game.

Wrighty volleyed the ball into the stands in frustration as well.

One of the worst performances by a referee in English football, was either rigged or he was drunk.

Tony Gale Vs Forrest....

As it sparked the best response from a set of supporters ever.
Fuck the result.... Suck up the feeling!

Still gives me goose bumps

The Chelsea game at Upton Park in 2015 or 16 when a Chelsea player was sent off shortly followed by Mourinho... great atmosphere that night!

The two the stick out for me are the Abou one (I was sat in with the Spurs fans that day).

Ian Wright, Shaka and Lomas vs Leeds at home.
Thought Ian Wright was gonna kill the ref! Trashed his dressing room instead!

Apparently Repka was sent off on his debut then was sent off the game following his suspension.

Not one but a series of red card moments all in one match!
Those old enough to remember 'The Battle of Santiago' in a World Cup match Chile vs Italy (1962 I think-?)
Tension had been steadily building up between the two countries for a few weeks before the game and it didn't take long before it kicked off big time after the match began
Well worth looking it up on Youtube for those who haven't seen it!

Massing in 1990 is a beauty. Didn't Repka get sent off on his debut for us at Blackburn?

Beckham V Argies, if ever there was a more ridiculous and unnecessary red card, that was it, fucking prick.

Re: Your favourite Red Card moments?
Re Northern Sold. Norwich were one up at the time. The player sent off was a rookie defender who basically took one for the team. Norwich then went 2 up before Cottee got a couple near the end.
Norwich then went into freefall and got relegated. You could argue they've never quite recovered from it.
